APP #6 Assessment using Technology

      We assess the students learning to know where our students are in the process of learning and how we can make better lessons to prepare future lessons.  Assessment is crucial in for determining what the students learned and what areas need to be reinforced. This information helps us to guide the student in the processing of learning.  

     For the teachers, creating the assessment in a variety form, grading them, giving the feedback can become time-consuming. However, now, the teacher can use the numerous digital tools for assessing students. 
As a STEM teacher, I need to assess my students regularly because STEM, especially science, requires many technical terms to and concepts need to understand. There are many digital tools that you can find it online. Among these, I would like to introduce Quizlet for my assessment.
The below pictures are my science class Quizlet. My unit was the Water cycle on earth for the second-grade science. I create the lesson page about that. Also, I put vocabularies on the list. The Quizlet provided the definitions and pictures that you can choose which was very convenient. Automatically, Quizlet gives you many useful tools that student can confirm their learning and test by themselves which are flashcard, test, matching games, etc.

This is the assessment that you can use in your classroom.

I believe that technology can help the assessment more engaging and joyful to teachers and students.
